BRIEF ABOUT THE PROJECT

 

Azerbaijan, the nation and former Soviet republic, is bounded by the Caspian Sea and the Caucasus Mountains, which span Asia and Europe. It's capital, Baku is the commercial hub of Azerbaijani and is famed for its medieval walled Inner City. Thirty-one kilometers away from Baku, lies the third-largest city in Azerbaijan due to its high population; Sumqaiyat. Behind the beautiful scenes of Sumqaiyat, are residents who suffer from poverty. The Hope aims to help these people and bring a smile on their faces. 

The Hope will be taking upon a project where comprehensive renovation/completion work is required on a house. This poor family lives in Caravan near the train tracks. This is house will be dream come true for them and their children. This poor family, in their current situation, does not have the basic utilities that one should in their home. The caravan that they call home can barely protect this family from the weather changes and fluctuations. There is no privacy between rooms; the walls are cracked with visibility from the outside in some areas. The roof is in bad shape too and hardly provides them shelter. It is difficult to fathom the struggle these people go through every day. In order to make a difference, we need your help to turn their dream into reality.
