BRIEF ABOUT PROJECT
The Hope has carefully chosen a clinic in Giza, Egypt. Giza is the second-largest city in Egypt after Cairo. Located on the west bank of the Nile, it has been a focal point in Egypt’s history due to its location close to Memphis, the ancient pharaonic capital of the Old Kingdom. This clinic has not been chosen randomly; rather, based on primary research on the surrounding area.
The clinic is in the same area where The Hope has delivered on projects in the past. When you look at the cities within the more significant metropolis of Cairo, Giza lacks support and infrastructure from the government. In the primary research, we have witnessed first-hand examples where residents and attending students within poor local areas are in dire need of fixing many essential assets like broken desks, doors, and the need to repaint various walls, hence this renovation volunteering trip to Giza.
